Lois: Margaret is one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever met and one of the best instructors I have ever had in any field. I have been attending her classes for seven years and have taken pretty much everything she has offered from Spin to Kickboxing to Circuit to Dance. What makes her exceptional is her dedication to creating the very best experience for everyone in her classes. I know she spends a lot of time outside classes learning and preparing to bring us the latest information and insights in exercise, nutrition, and wellness generally and really fun and varied choreography. I think it speaks volumes that her classes include a broad spectrum of fitness levels and experience and that everyone is able to participate at a level that is beneficial for her or him. When I first got to her classes, I was a little nervous about whether I would be able to do all the exercises, but I quickly discovered that you can't feel bad about yourself around Margaret; she won't let you. If you come to a class feeling down or in a funk, you won't leave that way. I have learned an enormous amount from Margaret not only about the specific classes, but also about myself and how I learn. I would take any class she offered and recommend her unconditionally.

No matter what is going on in my life, I leave your class uplifted as well as in better physical shape than when I entered. I"ve been participating in your class for many years. Maureen-71 & 3/4's: No matter what the crisis of the day is--and there are many these days--Margaret's Dance & Tone Class, which I take on Tuesdays at The Atlantic Club, lifts me to another world. The sheer joy and enthusiasm she feels for dancing is infectious. I immediately tap into my own love of dance-minus all the rules--left foot or right, go here go there...Margaret's not concerned whether you follow every sexy, graceful or subtle nuance, which she executes so effortlessly. She doesn't demand we be mimics. She's part of the class, constantly interacting with us. Her message is laugh, relax, be healthy. She even makes the short body workout at the end of class a stress-free endeavor, very short with very long results. I float out the door ready for anything! PS- Did I say I've lost 20lbs. and halved my meds in the past year? Just saying'....

Ellen: I am the epitome of a "gym rat," and I have been working out with Margaret for the last 15 years. Whether it's her Wheels and Weights class or her dance class, I can honestly say she is the best teacher I have ever had the privilege of working out with. Margaret infuses energy into all her classes - and all of her students. She is fun and inspiring. I couldn't live without going to her classes!!!

So I decided to try Wheels and Weights on Monday morning. LOVED it from day one! Margaret "doesn't mess around" but also gives "options" and what keeps me coming back is her reminder... " Are you interested or committed?!"
I am committed and now have been loving the TRX class which follows on Monday mornings. It is challenging but I walk out feeling like I am investing in my future of my body and love the results!!! It feels great wearing sleeveless shirts and dresses this summer and all the compliments I am receiving on my arms!!!

Maryanne - Age 53: "Based on consistently high recommendations from 4-5 people in other classes, I used a rainy day in August to try Margaret's Just 4 Kicks class at Jersey Shore Fitness (Bradley Beach). I have arthritis, and am working hard to increase mobility rather than to undertake drug therapy. Margaret's class had an immediate impact after only one session! My fingers and hands responded almost instantly to the workout, and the overall increase in flexibility and range of motion was clearly evident later that evening and continued throughout the next several days. Margaret has followed up with me each of the subsequent weeks, quietly encouraging and making me feel welcome. Like everyone, I'm busy, and client work often gets in the way of personal needs. However, I have a priority block on the Tuesday 5:30 - 6:30 slot for Just 4 Kicks because that 60 minutes makes such a difference in my life each week!!"

Margaret has been blessed with an artistic gift of being able to blend fitness with various forms of dance that challenge anyone who takes the class and unique, fun way. Truly, there is only one Margaret-irreplaceable, and I can honestly say that there has been many a time that her class has been the best pick-me-up of the day-better than any medicine or therapy!! Active Rhythm is an intense cardio workout in addition to being a lot of fun. She has the ability to take away any intimidation or anxiety that one may have when coming into a class where the dancers learn a new dance every week. In her Let’s Get Personal class, she works every muscle in the body. It’s a great – although tough – total body workout;however, Margaret’s skills, enthusiasm, and personality make me eager to attend every class. Mary G: "The last two Wednesday mornings, I've intended to send you an e-mail telling you how much I enjoy your class and what a positive impact it has had on me. Then I get busy and/or distracted and it doesn't happen. So I wanted to make it a priority get it out tonight. All too often, people are quick to complain when something goes wrong, but slow to share a compliment or a kind thought. You and your class really are wonderful. Despite my bright red face and labored breathing during class, ten minutes after the class ends and for the rest of the night, I feel energized and totally juiced. And for the last couple of weeks, I've felt great on Wednesday mornings too. Great progress. The first couple of weeks when I started, the mornings after class were pretty brutal. I feel like my posture has improved, some muscle tone is coming back, and that I am standing taller. I know there's a long way to go, but I'm also confident that the improvements will continue and each week will get better.
